The Latin name for the Hungarian Pharmacopoeia is Pharmacopoeia Hungarica /Ph.Hg./. The Hungarian Pharmacopoeia is a departmental order, signed by the Minister of Health, it is for the regulation of the quality, control and qualification of drugs. Ph.Hg.VIII., which is the translation of the European Pharmacopoeia, was published in 2003, and it has been valid from 2006. We still use some parts of Editio septima as well.
