Catalonia and the Basque Country have strong independence movements and their own languages (Catalan and Basque/Euskara). Galicia speaks Galician, similar to Portuguese. Castile and León is the largest autonomous community by area. Andalusia is the most populous and the historical heartland of flamenco, bullfighting, and Moorish architecture.
