Eliza Schuyler (Hamilton's wife) and her sister Angelica are key figures, along with George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and King George III (portrayed with delightful comic pomposity). Hip-hop was Miranda's inspired choice to tell Hamilton's story, as the Founding Father was himself known for his rapid-fire writing and rhetorical skill.
