Stardew Valley is a farming simulation RPG developed by Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone and released in 2016 as an indie game. Stardew Valley features a 28-day in-game calendar across four seasons (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter), with unique crops, festivals, and events in each. The Skull Cavern in the desert provides the game's most dangerous mining challenge. A second player co-op mode was added in 2018, allowing two players to share a farm. ConcernedApe developed the entire game solo, handling all art, music, programming, and writing - One of the most celebrated single-developer games in history.
