Test your knowledge of the Jedi Order, the Force, lightsabers, and the iconic warriors of the Star Wars universe.
The Jedi Order is the monastic peacekeeping organization at the heart of the Star Wars universe, created by George Lucas. The Jedi are Force-sensitive individuals - People who can feel, access, and manipulate the Force, an energy field that permeates the universe. Jedi philosophy centers on peace, knowledge, serenity, and harmony with the Force. Their weapons - Lightsabers, swords of pure plasma energy that can cut through almost anything - Come in various colors representing different aspects of their character and path: blue (most common, associated with Jedi Guardians), green (associated with Jedi Consulars), and red (Sith, made through the "bleeding" of kyber crystals).
The most iconic Jedi in Star Wars include: Yoda (Grand Master of the Jedi Order, one of the most powerful and wise Jedi, who speaks in a distinctive inverted syntax - "Do or do not, there is no try"), Obi-Wan Kenobi (mentor to both Anakin and Luke Skywalker), Anakin Skywalker (the Chosen One who falls to the dark side and becomes Darth Vader), and Luke Skywalker (the last Jedi of the original trilogy). The Jedi Council sat at the heart of the Order on Coruscant. The Sith, their ancient enemies, follow the Rule of Two: always two - A master and an apprentice.
The prequel trilogy (Episode I - III) depicted the fall of the Jedi Order, culminating in Order 66 - A command embedded in clone troopers that caused them to turn on and kill the Jedi they served. Only a handful of Jedi survived the Great Jedi Purge, including Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi. The sequel trilogy (Episode VII - IX) explored the last Jedi (Luke Skywalker) and the rise of Rey, a new Force-sensitive hero. The Mandalorian Disney+ series introduced Grogu (nicknamed "Baby Yoda"), a child of Yoda's species with Force ability, expanding the Jedi mythology.
